and Dry Cleaners
Steam is part of everyday operations in laundries and dry cleaners. Most facilities use heating steam or “black steam”—that is, steam generated directly from tap water to which chemical additives such as corrosion inhibitors, antiscalants, and dispersants have been added. Steam is generated in traditional carbon steel boilers—a proven and cost-effective solution for daily laundry operations. However, this method is not sufficient for sterilizing cleanroom clothing. To do this, you'll need clean steamthat meets the necessary hygiene requirements.
Special Steam for Special Applications
To ways to produce clean steam - we offer two efficient solutions to reliably supply your sterilizer with pure steam:
- Make use of existing "black steam" - your existing steam boiler will remain in service. With our Clean Steam Converter the existing black steam is used to generate pure steam. This allows you to continue making effective use of your existing infrastructure.
- Standalone electric clean steam generators - Alternatively, the sterilizer can be connected to an electric clean steam generator This solution enables independent clean steam generation exactly where it is needed.
Make smart use of thermal energy With both solutions, the thermal energy contained in the condensate does not have to be lost. It can be specifically recovered and reused - for example, with our condensat recovery unit to feed condensate back into the steam generators or to other processes in the laundry. This allows you to combine reliable pure steam generation with highly efficient use of energy and resources.
